What is ISDN? Technically, it stands for Integrated Services Digital Network. Confused? Basically, it's a proven method of linking up two - or more - studios via a pure digital connection, all in real time. This isn't an internet phone, this is a proven technology that allows studio-quality real-time transmission from microphone to remote recorder. And both studios can hear the same high-quality signal at the same time.

Who would use ISDN?

Anybody wanting to direct a voice-over or music session without having to resort to a tinny-sounding telephone that can't reproduce the subtleties of a performance.
Someone that needs real-time transmission of CD-quality material. This is faster than uploading to the internet, and definitely faster than overnight delivery.
Broadcast outlets that need real-time transmission. We have done many ISDN sessions for radio talk shows that utilize talent in Lexington.
Studios that need to direct ADR (automated dialogue replacement) sessions. We have done several real-time ADR session via ISDN where the talent (in our studios) performs new dialogue to video, while the director (at a remote studio) listens, directs, and watches the same video.
